Friday's Fave #33

Friday - 9.13.2013

the bathroom
This week things are finally happening!! The bathroom is tiled, just needs the toilet put in. The kitchen is half tiled. And my dad is finally talking about finding a place to live. Just in time too, I don't know how much more of this house I cant possibly take. It's gotten so bad my hubby and I have talked about moving out and leaving behind the work we've done to it. My dad just wont let go!

Ok I'm only going to make a small mention of this today. If you are serious about making money from home, doing what your already doing you need to check out Empower Network! I can't even begin to tell you how much I have learned about making money on the internet from this company. Seriously if after you go through the 8 lessons and you don't think its the best $25 business investment you've made. I'll give you a complimentary vacation.

Got the usual stuff - check out all the giveaways and blogger opps I'm promoting. Oh yeah I'm starting a fun new monthly contest called Follow The White Rabbit, starting in September. Make sure you subscribe to the right news feed to receive weekly updates, sign up for 1 or all 3:

Remember you can receive a complimentary vacation just for checking out my business opportunity! And as usual, my blogging buddies should go link up over on Tuesday's Tea Party or even better sign-up to co-host!

I linked up with Lisa-Jo Barker for 5 Minute Friday. For this one she gives you a topic and you have to write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking. So this weeks topic is...

Mercy...

I immediately think of God's mercy. I battled for years with some serious sins that really held me down. When I did finally turn my life around I just knew God would show me mercy and forgive me. Now I can look at my past and reflect on lessons learned rather than guilty feelings.

God is so merciful and good. He is really there for those who look for him. He's not partial, so anyone can seek his mercy and receive it. Truly beautiful. His mercy moves me to be merciful to others. To seek mildness.

This is such a beautiful post. All of women go through a rough patch when they're young that they think they wont survive. I was just talking to Dinah (my unofficially adopted 18 year old daughter) about going back and doing things different. Not trying so hard to get those kids, that wouldn't give me the time of day, to like me.

  1. As much as I'd been told my whole life the truth that nothing is outside his Mercy, it didn't really sink in until I dealt with my one deep dark secret I'd been convinced couldn't be forgiven. Turns out there's nothing that dark or deep that God can't reach it. It's good to be free. Thanks for the reminder :) Stopping through via FMF. Good luck with finishing the renos!
